Forrest Allen is originally from Bismarck, ND and was exposed to chiropractic at a young age as his family’s close friends were chiropractors. Those close family friends, Carol and Cameron Nemecek, were his inspiration in the field. He graduated from Century High School in 2012 and continued on to Montana State University to study Health and Human Performance. Growing up, Forrest and his father took many ski trips to Montana and he fell in love with the mountains and the outdoors at a very young age. Going through his undergraduate studies, his passion for the body and how it moves and functions grew even more. In his last semester at MSU, he became an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist and an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He graduated in the fall of 2015 and moved on to chiropractic school at Logan University in Chesterfield, MO.
He is currently a trimester 10 student at Logan and will graduate this April. During his time at Logan, he has been heavily involved in Motion Palpation Institute and served as the Logan club president for two trimesters. He also tutors anatomy, neuroanatomy, biochemistry, clinical methods, and diagnostic imaging. Some of his interests within chiropractic include dynamic neuromuscular stabilization (DNS), sports and nutrition. His personal hobbies include running, snowboarding, rooting for the Yankees, and exploring the great outdoors with his black lab Sabrina and girlfriend Kayla. After graduation, he plans on working for a chiropractor back in Montana before opening up his own practice in the future. He’s very excited to be a part of the Winchester Spine and Sport team and looks forward to meeting everyone!
Forrest joins an amazing lineage of interns that have came through our doors at Winchester Spine and Sport. Stay tuned as we check in with some of our past interns to see where they are today!
